Street Sweeper Social Club es un supergrupo de rock americano formado en Los Ángeles, California en 2006. La banda se compone principalmente del guitarrista Tom Morello de Rage Against the Machine y el MC Boots Riley de The Coup. La banda había estado probando canciones durante la gira Nightwatchman de Tom Morello y lanzaron un álbum el 16 de junio de 2009. Stanton Moore fue el baterista para el grupo por la grabación del álbum aunque no se unió a la banda para la siguiente gira. Street Sweeper Social Club abrió para Nine Inch Nails y Jane's Addiction en mayo de 2009. Street Sweeper Social Club se describe a sí mismo como "más que una banda, es un club social".Su EP "The Ghetto Blaster" incluye versiones de MIA " Paper Planes " y LL Cool J 's " Mama Said Knock You Out ".
